The Butterfly Room!

The Butterfly classroom consists of older toddlers aged 26-30 months.  In this classroom the Doors to Discovery curriculum is implemented.  The class size for this group is 10 children with a ratio of 1:5.  The teaching team for this class is: Lyndsey Harris and Leah Van Hoozer.

7:00 – 9:00 am: Arrival/Greet Children/Free Centers
8:30 – 9:00 am: Morning Snack
9:00 – 9:20 am: Circle Time
9:20 – 9:45 am: Activity 1 (Art, Literacy, Sensory)
9:45 – 10:00 am: Activity 2
10:00 – 10:15 am: Story Time
10:15 – 11:00 am: Diaper Change/Bathroom Break
10:15 – 11:00 am: Gross Motor (Indoor/Outdoor)
11:15 – 12:00 pm: Lunch/Nap prep
12:00 – 2:00 pm: Nap
2:00 – 2:30 pm: Diaper Change/Bathroom Break
2:30 – 3:00 pm: Snack
3:00 – 4:00 pm: School Day Departure/Gross Motor (Indoor/Outdoor)
4:00 – 6:00 pm: Free Centers/Prepare to go home

**Activities include, but are not limited to, literacy, math, fine arts, and science.
